Dr. Victoria Tanguay, DVM, cVMA, CCRP Candidate
Dr. Victoria (Tory) Tanguay has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Silver Spring, MD, she received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Hood College in Frederick, MD and then began work as an equine veterinary technician. Deciding she had had enough of Maryland, she moved to Nashville, TN where she worked for several years as a veterinary technician in small animal medicine. She then moved cross-country yet again to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University. She worked as a general practitioner in Loveland, CO for two years followed by three years in rehabilitation and acupuncture in Broomfield, CO. She completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture in 2016 and her Fear Free Practitioner Certification in 2018. Dr. Tanguay’s areas of interest include chronic pain management, geriatric medicine, and client education. She currently lives in Johnstown, CO with her husband, their two cats, and one dog. When not at WRAH, she is a self-proclaimed “nerd of all trades” who loves reading, antiquing, Comic Cons, video games, museums, history.
